Best time to travel to Chile

Chile is located in the Southern Hemisphere, so its seasons are the opposite of those in Europe. While you can generally travel to the country year-round, the climate and best time to visit vary significantly depending on the region. Summer (December to March) is ideal for exploring Patagonia and the Lake District in the south. The north, including the Atacama Desert, remains pleasantly warm throughout the year. Spring and autumn (September to November and March to May) offer mild temperatures and are perfect for uncrowded tours.
