Best Time to Visit Patagonia: A Month-by-Month Guide

The trip allowed me to get to know the country, the people, and the culture.

Magnificent trip, exceptional landscapes, breathtaking places, beautiful weather. We would like to thank Viventura, especially Anais, for organizing this wonderful trip and for always being attentive to our questions and expectations. Everything was perfect: the tours, the hotels, the restaurants—we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A big thank you to Mavrick for his professionalism, kindness, availability, and contagious good mood. A very friendly group, with great harmony (Los gauchos). We did the extension to Rio, which was magnificent—the hotel, the guided tours by Pedro, who speaks perfect French, very professional and passionate about history, which he enjoys sharing. We loved our stay. We chose direct flights and do not regret it. We will keep unforgettable memories—one of the most beautiful trips we have ever taken. We highly recommend VIVENTURA. A big thank you to the whole team!!!!

Starting with an excellent tour guide (Christian), it was simply a wonderful and varied trip, with beautiful accommodations, great landscapes, covering colonial cities, volcanoes, rainforests, turtles, etc. It had everything that belongs to Ecuador.

Magical and complete journey in discovering a very vast country full of contrasts Naira, a superb guide, always smiling and attentive to her 10 travelers Very pleasant hotels, even though we change every day to see as much as possible Quite a few meals not included by Viventura, but we managed at reasonable prices I chose the Valdes extension: a lot of travel from Iguazu, but it’s really worth the trip!!

We had a wonderful trip, Catalina was fantastic, very professional, attentive to our needs, and very pleasant!! She was very responsive when our Air France flight was canceled at the last minute without any notice. An amazing group 👍 Regarding the falls, two days would be better to enjoy them more without rushing in a single day. Overall, it was a beautiful trip, we were amazed and will keep very fond memories!!!

I was not particularly moved by this trip. I found a very high concentration of tourists (of which I am one) at every place we visited, and despite the local guides, there was no way to escape it. As a reference, I have the parks on the west coast of the United States, where the guide always managed to show us the beauty of the place without us feeling the pressure of tourism.

The trip was very satisfying. We were captivated by the vastness and variety of the landscapes, and we enjoyed the diversity of visits and local cultural encounters off the beaten tourist path (Isla Maciel neighborhood, meeting a winemaker in Cafayate, etc.). Overall, the hotels were very good, and the highlight was the Relais Château in Salta. On some days, a lighter lunch would allow more time for visits, especially when the weather is nice. We had a young guide, David Thébaut, who was exceptionally patient and kind, and who was able to share his knowledge and passion for Argentina with us.

I was very satisfied with the organization of this trip, which was smooth and perfectly prepared. The stages, accommodations, and pace were really well thought out. A big thank you to Bruno, our amazing guide, who made this experience even more rewarding. His knowledge of the country, kindness, and enthusiasm made all the difference. I highly recommend Viventura and will keep wonderful memories of this trip.

The trip was well organized, but the schedule was very tight. A break instead of the tourist sales show with industrial mass-produced goods on the Uros Islands would have benefited the trip. The hotels were well located, within walking distance to the old towns. Visiting Machu Picchu not so early in the morning would have had the advantage that the morning fog would have cleared by then. A wonderfully organized trip with many highlights. A very special experience was the ride on the Titicaca-Andean train in the style of the 1920s. However, the trip also includes some quite strenuous bus journeys lasting several hours (sometimes all day) along the Panamericana, but you get to see a lot of the country and its people. Overall, an absolute recommendation if you don't have time for a multi-week tour through Peru and still want to get to know the Peruvian Andes and the most important Inca sites.
