The distant rumble catches your ear long before you set eyes on it. Sometimes shrouded in mystical clouds, other times gleaming brilliantly in the sunlight, there lies the colossal Perito Moreno Glacier. Your journey towards Perito Moreno is filled with fascinating insights about the glaciers of Patagonia. Among them, the Perito Moreno is not only the largest but also the only one advancing. Each day, the 70-kilometer expanse of ice pushes forward about a meter. Witnessing the sight and sound of ice chunks crashing from the 60-meter high, five-kilometer wide face into Lago Argentino is truly spectacular.
From strategically placed viewpoints, you can embark on short exploratory walks along the glacier-fed lake, perhaps pausing for a picnic, weather permitting, with a breathtaking view of the icy panorama.
Optionally, you might choose a boat tour that takes you from the Magallanes Peninsula to within 300 meters of the glacier's imposing edge. Keep in mind, the feasibility of the boat tour depends on the weather and our timing upon arrival in the park.

In the morning, you visit the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls. From the walking trails, you gaze upon the cascading waters. The mighty torrents plunge into the depths, with the mist shimmering in all the hues of the rainbow, rivaling the vibrant tropical butterflies flitting about. A small train takes you to the Devil's Throat, where the river dramatically plunges in a U-shape: the chasm is 150 meters wide, 700 meters long, and 72 meters deep! Afterward, you explore the tri-border region where Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay meet, with the Iguazú and Paraná rivers forming the natural borders of these lands.
Optionally, you can embark on a speed boat ride to get up close to the falls. Be prepared, everything that isn't secured will get wet (waterproof bags are provided, though).
Note: During high water levels, access to the Devil's Throat walkway might be restricted!

Yes, on some trips. Where available, we offer options to extend your stay or add pre- and post-tour nights. Let us know your preferences and we’ll help arrange additional services where possible.
No. While we sell tours if multiple countries (i.e. Germany, France, United Kingdom, etc), we do not combine guests from those countries into a single departure. However, if, for instance, a German customer were to purchase from one of our UK sites (i.e. www.africaventura.co.uk as opposed to www.africaventura.de), nothing would stop them from doing so but the tour would be conducted in English.
We intentionally keep our groups small to ensure a more personal and immersive experience. The vast majority of our tours have a maximum limit of 12 and on average our tours have around 9 travellers. However a small number of our trips allow up to 16 travellers.
