IT-/Developer-Internship

Start: 24.08.2009 - duration: 6 months - Arequipa (Peru)

We are looking for a software developer intern to support our international distributed IT-Team from Arequipa, Peru. The internship lasts 6 months and involves databases, programming and network support.
The IT is responsible for our webpages (www.viventura.de, www.viventura.fr, etc.) and the back end systems for administrating accountancy and tours etc. We are using object oriented frameworks (MVC-Workflow, Java Spring based object framework, unit testing, AOP, security ...). Our multicultural team consists of South Americans and German speaking employees. The primary language within IT is English.

Requirements

• very good general database knowledge
• good general programming skills
• internet experience
• experience in using PHP and MySQL
• basics in object orientation
• knowledge of MVC-pattern
• blog experience (wordpress) is a plus
• motivation, being proactive
• good command of English
• command of Spanish would be helpful
