Riobamba - Cuenca

We'll get up early in order to get a good place on the roof of the famous Nariz del Diablo train ride. We'll take the train for about 2 hours and our journey will take us through the cool highlands of the Andes until Guamote or Alausi where we'll take a private bus to get to Cuenca.

At night we'll enjoy a 2 hour city tour of Cuenca with its charming cobblestone streets, old-world cathedrals, colonial parks and urban rivers. Of course, there'll be plenty of free time left over to enjoy the best bars and restaurants of Cuenca.

Hostal for our tours in Cuenca

The hotel is a renovated colonial house with a very nice ambience. The breakfast is served in a patio which is covered with glass.
What we like about the rooms:
Most of the rooms are spacious, bright and have a nice view on the road. The rooms towards the patio are very calm.
Hostal accouterment
  • television in the room
  • laundry service
  • telephone in the room
